Yes of course we have to. We have to list all we need in the family. First priority is food which is very important for our daily lives. Second is the bills(water, electricity, cable, telephone, credit cards). Third would be for my baby, for her immunizations and other injection. fourth is for the payment of other debts. Fifth would be other expenses of the family.

Yes. For us, we allocate first on food and home billings. After that my children school cost. We have not records for budgetting. Just make some allocation in simple way.

I prefer to budget all my spending and earning pattern. I normally go for deficit budgeting within limits and ensure that extra income will fill the extra spending.

I don't really have to "prepare" a budge each month. At the beginning of every month I pay my housing, my utilities, insurances, and then what is left is what we use for food, clothes, etc. and our "fun" stuff. First priority is always housing.

We have a general budget in our house. It isnt real strick, but it makes sure we have money to cover all bills each month and have $$ to live on also. Our top priorities are of course the house payment, electric, water, car, insurance. Then we pay our c.c. bills. I try and put as much as we can toward the cc, beacuse we are trying to pay them off. But I have to figure how much we will need to live for the month (food, kids school, general necessities, etc) and then put the max I can without cutting us short, to the cc. Our "fun" comes in teh end. If we have extra to see a movie, we go, if we dont, then we rent one at home.
