I love Englands Lake District. An area of craggy mountain tops and stunning lake views. Does anybody have any experiences of this small corner of England

I live in the north of england so am not far from the lakes. I spent a holiday with school once and we went on some great walks. It is not far from where my mums family come from, north yorkshire and I have to say I prefer yorkshire but I am probable biased.

I agree with you actually, the Lake District is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in England, but I have to say the top of Mount Snowdon, unspoilt by mankind was also breathtakingly beautiful, I'd never seen a lake so clear than the one at the top of that mountain, it was clean enough to just take a drink from, without even boiling or sterilising it. England has some wonderful sites, I'd love to visit the whole of England at sometimes, as I live in the Midlands, it's not going to be too difficult to do.
