Chuch of Satan

I think they look ridiculous! They have to dress up in costumes and wear masks in order to worship then they must be ashamed of what they are doing. I believe that Jesus Christ was born into the world to defeat Satan and the consequences of sin ... and I know that in the end Satan loses.

my understanding of Satanists is that they tend to be fairly normal people on the whole. no more likely to be unpleasant than anyone else. Satanism isn't a religion worshipping Satan. in that sense I can't help but think it's called Satanism just to try and be shocking. so anyway, it's not a religion, it's a philosophy. Satan is a symbolic being in it, rather than beleived in as an actual entity. he is used as a symbol of human nature, that a lot of the followers beleive has been supressed by major religions, leading to people being unhappy, and that it's healthier to aknowledge a humans true nature. some of the points they make are very sensible, and very ethical. some other points they make, well the only criticism I have of it is that some of it is a bit of a selfish attitude. the Satanists I've met, however, didn't seem to be any more selfish than the next person. they are often intelligent, reasonable, thoughtful people who respect each individuals freedom of beleif. the dressing up on the site, seems very halloweenie, and is probably quite tongue in cheek, rather than serious. so. Satanists. no better and no worse than anyone else.

The thing I don't understand about satanists is, if they believe in Satan, they must believe God exists also. Haven't they read His Book? The Christians win in the end....

so hard for me to believe, do you believe that? do you the member of the chursh of satan? tell me more about that

Freaky, but they have the right to discuss their beliefes as well.... (Until they move to other parts of the world that is)

I don't think of them as anything less or anything more. They are pretty much normal people like you and I. most people are freaking out about this because they have no idea of what Satanism is all about. They don't really believe in the devil and let alone killing animals. Just like with witches, wiccans, and satanic people label them as something bad without bothering to take the time to some research and finding out what they believe in.
