Does anyone have a story that could be from the beyond?

I have a couple of them, like for instance...One night when I was 10 I woke from a dead sleep and looked out my bedroom door to find this hazy white figure, I wasnt scared, I just thought in my head, go away no one wants you here, and she turned to walk into my moms room. The next day, my mom told me she had cancer...do you think this is a dream? Or my subconscious trying to tell me something? Or do you really believe in spirits and angels? Do you have a simialr type story?
