Will this World Cup be a bowler's worst nightmare?

The recent Chappell-Hadlee series played between Australia and New Zealand has set the trend and it appears that it's bowlers who have to foot the bill for the beachfront party waiting to explode. For the uninitiated, the story will go on these lines: small grounds, Benign track, batsmen hitting through the line, and bowler kicking the bucket. The otherwise smug Austrailia were left gnawing a humble pie when New Zealand successfully chased total excess of 300 twice in a row. Worse still, the men from Down Under have now been at the receiving end of the four most sucessful run-chases of all time within the past one year.

This one looks like one. If u see the trend for the past few years, the scores have been consistently on the rise. And this time inthe caribbean.. bowlers beware. Every bowler today rues the fact that he picked upthe wrong profession and his miseries will only multiply in this world cup!

Thanks for the comment......... U can see that in caribbean the pitches are slow as we know but for this world cup we can assure our self that .....They might have prepared a better pitches which will help both bowler and batsman to perform. It should not be advantage to one, then the craze of watching the match would be gone.....

no ways.... it will be the other way round..... the tracks that r laid in the carribean are slow tracks and the batsmen dont like it when the ball keeps low and there is a low bounce..... and th ball comming slow to there bat......even considering the fact that aus and new are in top form and when they get going they can produce scores well above 300........ still it also depends alot on the track

Thanks for your comment......It really depends more on the track as we can see that wicket place an important role in the huge score......so it necessary the pitches made are good enough for both the batsmen and bowler.....Its a worldcup huge score is what crowd wants.....
