Rap songs or Normal songs!!

I usually like the lyrics i dont care whoz the singer. I like the video I like the dance I like hard rock.. well these mi8 be the most common answers..!! what do you think of the present scenario.. rap songs are they a craze or jst quick money,..!! I personally feel songs are better if the lyrics are gud instead of the mature content..i mean that is fine with me cos i'm 22...but i feel lyrics plays an important role of course with music!!! Ur views???

Lyrics are important to most people I think, but there are a few who just go for the beat, and then there's always the exception to the rule, some songs that all people love, just because it's just very catchy so before they even hear the lyrics, they like it. Lyrics are very important for me but there are a few songs where I am bowled over by the rhythm and scarcely care about the lyrics...I usuall draw the line at mature content though...I prefer my music without mature content. As for rap vs normal, I like most normal music but there are a few rap songs or "rap mixed with other" songs that I like...not a lot though.
