I have a tatoo about 8 inches long across my shoulders and most poeple don't see it. But there have been times when we were at events held by our church out at the park when I would get looks for it as I changed my shirt for softball. So yes I have had that happen but it is not that often. And noone has said anything to me about it. My dad is the pastor of my church and after I had gotten the tatoo I wasa afriad to tell him and my mom about it b/c of what they would say to me, but after they found out I was suprized at the response that they gave me. They aid that it was a neat tatoo and that they would never get one, but it was ok that I got one. On the other hand I could see how a 80 year old man and his wife could be offended by as tatoo, bieng that they grew up in a different culture than I have. Sometimes it is very had for poeple to accept the changes that we make and the decisions that we make because those decisions are not the same that they ould make. I don't think that it will ever stop, because we are always going to be different from the person next to us. I hope that things get better for you though.

oh wow thats wonderful that your parents didn't mind it must have been a very awesome tattoo and ment alot for you to get it.. yes you are so right with everyone is always going to be different and there will always pretty much be talk about it. yet the older cultures are going away and the newer ones are getting older and it might stop as of that.
