ok...i know this girl, and shes very annoying. shes loud, weird and talks a lot. at lunch she sits with us and is constantly talking about us like we are her best friends. i know this sounds really mean, but ive been putting up with this girl since the beginning of the year and i dont know what else to do. we all try to be really nice when telling her to 'be quiet' 'calm down' 'chill out' ....stuff like that without trying to be mean. i really want to kind of shake her loose without totally hurting her feelings, i just want her to bakc off a bit. have this problem???

Well that seems to be a real problem, you cannot be rude as well as it is very annoying too. Better change the place where you take lunch and do not let her know where you take lunch. Secondly one day try not to be nice and give her your piece of mind about her behavior. As you cannot always pretend to be nice, it is ok to be rude at times.

Oh man, I can empathize. I don't know what to tell you. Is there a way you can go to lunch at a different time, or go some where else to eat? She sounds very lonely, and probably has been hurt in the past, so she is very needy. Maybe once she knows you have fully accepted her, and think she is special for who she is, she will settle down, and not feel so overwhelmed to have to try so hard.
