PhysX the next big thing?

Well all of you people who are in the know through out the gaming community will know for years computer game designers have been looking for a way of updating the physics in there games. The physics I am refering to although not the turm game designers use, is the way in which the environment reacts and the way that characters react to input. This issue is now being addressed with PhysX cards being brough out by component manufacturer Ageia these chips will allow more detailed environment and for it to react more life like. Anyway I havnt seen many games using these yet Im presuming this is down the lack of people having the card. Is there any market for this? and will is be a big thing in the future?

The only game that I know of off hand that is using it is Vaguard. I know my husband and 10 of his friends (all of which are hardcore Vaguard players) are gearing up to buy PhysX cards because it is suppose to enhance the game so much. They have been talking about the PhysX card forever. Since the card is still new and companies know that not all gamers have the best of the best PCs they are holding back a bit. From what I understand to add the physics into a game is a lot more work than just writing the average video game.
