whats the strongest muscle in the body???

I read in a fact book that it's actually your tongue. It's not anything "normal" as people would assume it to be though. Although I'm not sure if the tongue as the strongest muscle in the body is really believable...

I actually took my time to look it up on Wikipedia and I found that there are many different definitions of "strong". The muscle with the biggest ability to "lift a force" would be actually the jaw. If strength refers to the force exerted by the muscle itself, then the most strongest would be basically your abs. But usually, people perceive that it is the quadriceps femoris or the gluteus maximus (your butt).

ive read in a lot of places that its your tongue, but im pretty sure thats not true. The only reason that people claim it is, is because it is described as the "strongest muscle in the human body proportional to size" I think its your butt though (Gluteus Maximus)
