I just downloaded Macromedia Freehand and I have no idea how to use it at all. I've read some of their instructions and it doesn't really help me out at all. Can you offer me some advice? I got it because I wanted to draw a picture of an octopus.

Macromedia FreeHand is a software which is similar to Adobe Illustrator. If your familiar with adobe illustrator,FreeHand should be a piece of cake. Freehand is a piece of software that allows you to draw stuff much better. You'd be having a toolbar at the left hand corner.Use this to experiment of the different tools available. All the best!

Well, I'm not familiar with Adobe Illustrator so that doesn't really help me out all that much.

the best tutor is experimentation.............btw, if u need any books, juzz drop a line at ma discussions..........:) Freehand isn't very difficult........it's juzz a bit messed up than Illustrator.......but don't go running off to download Illustrator.....itz far more difficult for beginners than Freehand.........
