Contraceptive Pills?... can cure acne?

I think it is bogus myself. Throughout my teens I was not sexually active but I ahd many girlfriends who were. They were all on the pill as a consequence. Out of the ten of us they had the most acne!!!! In fact those of us not on the pill had none to minimal. So I don't think there is any positive effect for acne from contraception, only for not having babies lol.
