Carter wants to stay with Nets

On Friday, New Jersey Nets forward Vince Carter, speaking on the YES Network postgame show, was told that team president Rod Thorn had earlier said, "We'd obviously like to sign him." Carter responded by saying, "Hey, that sounds good to me. We're going to try to work it out. Hopefully I can be a Net for years to come."Carter can opt out of the final year of his contract once this season is over.

I am a fan of Vince Carter since the beginning of his career, all those awesome dunks and possterizing moves he made, i cheered all of them.. His decision to stay with the Nets is a good choice.. Considering the fact that his already getting old, I don't think going to another team is convinient to him.. Playing with all-star cliber players like Jason Kid and Richard Jefferson and the newest acquisition Jamal Magloire this makes them competetive team in the season and also in the Playoffs.. Go vinsanity make all those posterizing duks again and i hope you make it all the way next season.

i feel that carter will not sign after the season. he might end up in orlando. dwight howard, jameer nelson and vince carter, thie line-up could go far. the magic also might take carter since grant hill's contract will also run out after the season, a big void at the 3-spot.
but i want vince carter to end up with the cavaliers, if the salary cap allows. vince, lebron and larry hughes. now thats sick!

yes carter has the option to opt out of his contract wioth the nets at the end of the season, some rumors says that he'll be signing with the orlando magic. magic is a good team and is capable of winning and the team-up of doward and carter is great but for me i want him to stay with the nets, i just like the combination of carter-kidd-jefferson and with just the right talent to back them-up the nets can bag the nba title.
alongside with kidd, carter will not have to force his shots kidd can set him up for his shots or carter can kick it out to kidd, jefferson, krstic and nachbar for a shot if his doulbled.
kidd will be carter's best team mate because of kidd's court leadership, and kidd will not have a hard time getting a double figure in assist with carter taking the shots.
