Not the bottom of your shoe or a fish or a genre of music. what is this thing in religion they call the soul? We may not have God right here in front of us to poke and prod and run experiments on but we do have plenty of humans here to work with. If we dig deep enough will we actually find an immortal soul within us? First we need to agree on what a soul is before we can go looking for it. Is it physical or non-physical? Does it control our body or the other way around? Does it do our thinking, remembering, feeling? what function does the soul provide?
