I mean do u hold back or just do what u feel like in public? There are some places where even holding hands can be attracting attention. People would just stare at you. Do you mind that or do you prefer to your own self?

Holding hands between couples are not a public display of affection. It is normal and it just nothing for oldies. Kissing accross the street is one thing that oldies don't like or people will not like. Holding hands is normal.

Thank you. You are right, but some people trying for public attention by using this type of activities. I think after years later Kissing across the street may be quite normal.What is your opinion about this

Its ok to hold hands on public, for me I find it a sweet gesture and a nice way to express one's affection through holding hands. There's nothing wrong about it, when people stare maybe they are just envious... I feel so secure when my boyfriend holds my hand, its as if I feel safe and secure in his hand.

I am not much on public displays of affection (PDA) maybe it was because of being brought up in a military family and then marrying a military man. But, holding hands seems pretty benign to me and I see nothing uncomfortable with being the one doing it, or seeing others doing it.

Thank you for your response. I think the reason for thinking you like this is not because of you live in a Military family, but it is for your positive quality. Only some bad people want public displays of affection. I think holding hands together is quite natural. It is a symbol of love.
