I just know that these high heels sandles or shoes are bad for ladies because one of my friend said this to me. My wife is short heighted and likes to have the high heels shoes always. I try to convince her but I do not have any scientific or logical explanation for this. My wife says you don't like me look heighted that is why you say this to me. Can you tell me some good reason so that I can tell my wife?

I do pedicures on many older women and I can tell which ones used to always wear high heels and which ones didn't. Many of them have had to have bunions and overlapping toes surgically corrected. I still wear heels myself though. I try to only wear ones that are comfortable and don't pinch my toes.

When standing, high heels throw your weight forward on to the slender bonesat the front of the foot. Because of the angle of the foot in the shoe, it tends tio slip forward, buckling the toes. High heels affect bodies center of balance too, putting strains on parts of the body not designed to cope with it. The whole posture legs, pelvis and spine gets affected. They are also unstable, and this is just a matter of ricking an ankle, the muscles have to work harder, and can become destorted. Of course, how much damage you do, depends on the height of the heels and how often they are worn. Anything upto 50mm is quite acceptablefor everyday wear, although you should try to wear flat shoes whenever possible. Heels over to 100mm high should be used in the eveningor in special occasions. If they are worn all day, everyday, they can become a menace to foot from health point of view. So you please convince your wife about this and ask her to avoid if possible.

Wearing high heels changes the normal way you walk. it throws your balance forward and makes muscles in your lower back work harder to maintain balance...sometimes causes an exaggerated arch in the back, which can lead to pain. they can also result in a few different foot problems like; Metatarsalgia, which is pain in the ball of the foot Morton 's neuroma, which is 10 times more common in women than men, in response to irritation and excessive pressure such as the burden of weight high heels place on the ball of the foot. pointed toe shoes and shoes that pinch can cause bunions, callouses..and hammertoes which is a deformity of the bones, making it bend claw like. (this is true for shoes whether heeled or flat) wearing high heels for years can actually cause the calf muscles and tendons to contract permanantly..which will make walking in flats difficult. now that ive just given you a ton of ammo, you should also be aware that wearing high heels make many women feel sexier, and therefore more confident. she may have an issue with how short she is. wearing the heels makes her feel better about herself. and thats important to her own mental well-being. but if you are interested in her health only..good luck, if you just dont like her being taller than you (if thats the case) then thhppss! lol! hope this info helps!

wearing high heels , no doubt gives you a very sexy look but it is very bad for health.it contributes to the development of of a variety of conditions from corns and calluses to hammertoes, arthritis, chronic knee pain, sprained ankles and back problems. ladies suffering from Spondylitis just cant wear high heels because it aggravates the problem , giving the female an acute pain in neck and back. ladies suffering from this, cant wear high heels.ladies widely suffer from ankle sprain and breaks from rolling over on high heeled shoe.wide heel shoes or sandals is a better option as compared to stilettos as they are very bad for knees.

High Heels - High Heeled Shoes
If your wife has been used to wearing high heels then let her continue wearing high heels because maybe she get more self confidence when she gets a bit higher. When she is not pregnant I don't think high heels would be bad for her. She just have to maintain good posture because those who wear high heels tend to have arched back.

They crunch the toes together, they can cause blisters and sores, the weight of the body is not evenly distributed. The women could fall easier in the shoes especially if you get snow where you live. You wife may want to wear them because they look sexy, but she shouldn't wear them all the time. Have a nice day. Pablo
