Inactive for Days, Now, Less Friends are Responding to My Posts

i noticed that after days of inactivity here in mylot, i dont get that many responses from my friends as i used to get. is it because i have been inactive for quite a long time? i just observed that inactivity affects how i earn and the number of responses i get.

It's possible that it has affected you somehow, but i am sure that as soon as you're back to normality everyone will go back to responding your posts. I personally never get too many so i don't mind really hehehe. Anyway I always try to reply to your posts cuddle :)

I really have no idea but the same is happening with me since the very begining as none of my friends have ever responded to my discusions ever. I think they have kept their notify off for me.Any ways for you I think they must be busy or something else. Sometimes it happens. Any waysdon't worry they will be here in sometime(i guess).

I haven't noticed this yet because I have logged on here every day since I've signed up. I'm sure that the time is coming soon where I will be busy with my new job and will be less active, and I will also notice a decrease in responses and certainly in earnings. When you don't post new discussions for several days, your friends won't know that there are unanswered discussions that you started unless they search through all of the pages of discussions my friends started or if they go into profiles. That may account for the decrease in responses, as you are not there to answer any responses and to get that conversation to the top of the pages again. Once you're back again and start answering posts in your discussions, you should find that you get more responses once again.

It is confusing to work out what really is going on here, but yes, I would agreee that inactivity does lower your earnings. If for some reason, I can't do much of My Lot one day (like today), I at least keep the notifications regarding a friend starting a discussion, so that I can reply asap.

Yes, that is a fact - I too have been unavailable for the last 2 days and saw a big drop in earnings and responses. Activity is a big key at mylot the more active you are the more others "see" you and the more responses you are going to get. My phone line was out all day yesterday so could not get online - I thought about my friends here but could do nothing. This morning it's finally working again and I had over 3oo email not counting the 100+ new discussions from my friends here (only 6 new responses to discussions). I wasn't able to post a new discussion yesterday. :(

thanks for the response. yes i noticed a drop in my earnings too. i have very little earning for the march payout. i am only over 15 dollars compared last month. but i can attribute this to my inactivity and the lesser number of posts that i make when i check mylot.

That's definitely true. It's because like in life I guess, the less you respond to people, the less they respond to you.

thanks collis2. yes my inactivity in mylot has made me not being able to respond to my friends posts so maybe that' s one of the reasons. thank you for responding.

It wouldn't effect my responding to topics, as I use the email system. According as I get a notification, I respond to the topics as soon as is convenient. Don't worry about it, I am sure things will be back to normal before you know it.

Hmm yeah that happens with me too. Unfortunately i dont get responses from all my friends but i never mind. I dont think u should get upset if your friends dont respond. may be some one is busy in life . It can happen. So be happy and keep the smile on. ( like the smile in the cats face in display) Cheers, Tutul

That isn't something I take any notice of. If I get interesting discussions emailed to me I will answer them regardless of who they are from. I don't worry about whether they haven't posted any discussions for a long time.
