What is the most dangerous jobs?

I keep on asking this, since my husband is a police officer and everytime he goes on duty, I feel the fear for his safety. For you what is the most dangerous jobs one could have?
And I mean those jobs that are actually performed on a day to day basis.

i have much respect for people that work as police officers and fire fighters i feel they risk there lifes every day for the sake of others. in this day and age it is becoming more and more dangerous doing that line of work. However i must say i feel the most dangerous job has to be fighting in a war the world is full of dangerous jobs. i take my hat off to the couragous work any man or women does to help and save others you must not think of it as dangerous the work your husband does everyday and the work fire fighters and soliders do is heroic. the world would be a lot worse a place to live if it wasn't for people like your husband.much respect

surely you dont honestly mean that. How can you think timber cutters are real heros over men and women that put their own lifes on the line to help other people in the world that are at risk

yeah i think i agree with you and also there are also jobs like soldiers,rescuers and fire service.these are the most dangerous.
