generation gap is olders and younger people do not understand each other because of their different experiences, opinions habits and behavior. but now that im on my middle 30s and having teen kids we dont have that much of a problem. maybe there is an age gap but we fill it with communications and understanding. how about you do you feel like olders and younger people have generation gap that sometimes leads to misunderstanding?

Since very past this word is being used. Generation gap is mainly because of difference of opinion which changes with the situation, new and old habits of people, new type of thinking. It is seen that old people do not want to change their attitude. They think that what they are telling is only right. Where new generation people think fast and better than old person. Because this is the demand of time. If we do not act fast we will be left far behind so we have to be very quick. Till better understanding is developed among and old and new generation, this problem will exist. I do not mean that all the old guys are so, but most of them are so. Only few understands the problem and accept the new generations feelings, views etc.

thats a nice explanation of generation gap. and i agree that much older people are stuck on "their good old days." like my mom she cant really understand the process im doing on how to bring up my kids, but me and my kids go along well. we have this give and take relationship.so i feel like we dont really have this generation gap. and you had explained well that older ones think what they are telling is only right and for me thats really why we have this generation gap.
