Iran - US war concequences!

Well looking at the present situation, it seems that iran and us are not going to come down to any kind of a peacefull agreement. So i feel that Iraq and US will go to war. What do you think about this? and if they do go to war wat do you think will be the consequences. Do you feel iran is capable of inflicting major damages to US, it has very strongly stated that its ready for war so how well do you think they are ready???
