LCD are really good..I had the normal monitors for a year and it was a pain. Had to buy anti-glares to protect my eyes...

Yes, but only after more than 4 hours in front of the computer. I feel like my eyes are burning. I get a bit reddish and teary eyes. My mom used to tell me that looking on something green like trees can relax the eyes. Thats what i do first before i shut my eyes off.

I have to wear glasses for the computer and only the computer. But I still find that my eyes get sore and tired, I find cutting a piece of cucumber and holding against my eye/s helps a lot, cucumber is very soothing to the eyes and afterwards they feel much better, refreshed, worth a try, works for me!

yes, mine will get tired too. I try to change the distance from which I am reading from the screen and I try to take breaks every so often. Time does fly while you are on the computer though. It's like a different reality! lol

Yes i do, most of the time, my eyes get teary and red after long hours of looking at the monitor. But whats important is that after long hours of being online- dont wash your eyes immediately, well its better if you just dont wash them at all before u sleep- let it rest a while before washing it so you dont damage your eyes =)

Try taking breaks as often as possible. I have a regular monitor and that helps me. Personally, if I go without a break for more than an hour or so, that's too long. If I'm on the computer for more than 4 hours at a time (rare), I usually get a headache.
