Where have all the cowboys gone?

The cowboys are still there...
Only they drive trucks and 4x4 these days.
City folks call them "Red Neck".
Take a drive to any remote town in the country... and you will find them working with their cattle.
I live amongst them in Australia. They are hard working men who don't have time to talk non-sense. They still call a spade a spade... and you would not think about trying to argue with them. You do the wrong thing by one of them... and you might as well leave town... because everyone will know what you did.
Australia is a harsh country... weather wise... and it take a very tough man to work the land here... and earn a living from it.

I too miss the manly man. The one comfortable in his own skin. Good in a suit and blue jeans.. :)
There are still some out west in the States and a few countries emulate them also. We are becoming too modern and not taking care to preserve what has made us what we are today.
I too think that politically correct is too overboard. It is meant to assuage perceptions and we all have our own. No two really alike. I will always have a big part of my heart looking for that manly man to celebrate.
