Well I whined that we here in Minnesota haven't had snow this year. Well this past Saturday I got over a foot. Now there's a Winter Storm Warning out for tomorrow till Friday. 6 inches due tomorrow then another 12 inches on Thursday. Now I loved the last storm & am once again looking forward to this one approaching. I don't ski nor snowmobile. I just love snow is all. What do others do when theres a lot of snow arriving or already on the ground?
I love making snow angels. yes even at almost 53 I love that. A hot chocolate is always great to have also. I love to take pictures of different things in the snow. The snow adds so much to a photo in my eyes. I sit on my couch watching the snow fall from my picture window. Theres a couple photos on my page of a squirrel that sat there eating just as the snow had started to fall. Check them out. They're really cute photos. Okay so let's hear your activities before during and/or after a major amount of snow falls.

That will teach you to moan no snow, lol! I am a bit jealous, I got the boys a round sledge for Christmas and we've not really even had enought to settle.
We love making snow angels and often make sand angels on our local beach. Snowmen, sledges and snowball fights are good fun if we can get enough snow.
Hot chocolate with marshmallows squirty cream and chocolate sprinkles is the best isn't it? I can't put it down or my dog pinches it, lol.
I will go look at your photos now, I love snowy pickys!

Thanks. Even after this next storm I'll probably whine more about the snow. Even when it first falls but once it turns brown YUCKKKK!!! HAHAHA. happy postings.

ok my kids go crazy befor durring and after it snows. They are 6,5,and 2. They really love the snow and all that i so is get the shovels out and get the sand ready. Durring the storm i shovel and after the storm i shovel and then i sand. I hate the snow. We got 33 inches durring our first snow storm. so have a lot of fun.

Thanks for the reply. I have 2 grandkids 5 & 7. They love running through the snow it seems. I have a snow blower so I dont shovel. HAHAHAHA. But I used it a few times to make it easier the last storm instead of trying to do it all at one time. Once again thanks for the reply.

Well if the boys dont go to the jerks house youll have to build a snowman with them. As for us we go sledding yippeee its been a long time since i went sledding. And beleive it or not bubba loved it.

Well bubba will be disappointed. We are gonna try to come out tomarrow. I say you take the money to buy the tickets and go buy seeds at a store lol. I got an idea for your kitchen its called a bull dozer.

With what's falling right now we could build a SNOW ARMY hahahaha. I'll have fun with the boys if they come over this weekend. Sunday Mom & I want to go to the Home & Garden show at the Mpls Convention Center though.

We're going to get ideas for kitchen remodeling is the main reasn. Also on Sundy they sell all the display plants for $5 too. Seeds for sale too etc etc.

yes it is awesome isn't it web here in pine river I already got a foot and it is still falling down rapidly calling for another foot or so within the next couple of days.
I myself love the snow, but I can do without the cold that comes with it, but we really do need the moisture at this point in the year or else all will suffer even worse this summer so let the snow pile and the snowmen smile..

Call me WEBE or Grandpa Bob. Yes it's beautiful. Last night I blew about 3 inches from my driveway. This morning another 2 inches. Now I've got another inch since I last plowed & we're supposed to get up to a foot today then a few more inches tomorrow. Maybe 2 feet by Saturday morning. I love it excpet for the back breaking shoveling of the stuff from the plows at the end of my driveway. Happy postings from Grandpa Bob.

You know you are still welcome to send that snow this way ! We love it ! We even get up in the middle of the night when it is snowing, that is when you can hear it the best ! Please tell me you have listened to the snow in the silence of the night ! It is the most wonderfull sound next to a baby laughing. Anyhow, my kids love to sled and we have a perfect hill in our back yard, we love to build snow fort and have snow ball fights and make snow angels ! I hope you are able to enjoy it even though you have had so much !!!!! Have a great day !

you know the world is in such a hurry now days, i like to think that god sends the snow to slow us down a bit, ,many times the only time a family spends any quality time together is when there stuck inside for some reason. i love to watch the snow fall we spend our time doing jigsaw puzzles and playing cards maby just catching up on some reading or sleeping lol, that being said yo can keep the snow cause i dont want anymore this year
