Getting new carpet

We are getting new carpet put in our house. We have never had new carpet put down so I have a question about it and maybe someone can tell me. Are we supposed to move the furniture or will they do that for us?

Even if they will move the furniture I always do it myself. I do not trust them being as careful as I would be. Usually they charge a little extra too.

They are going to charge me a little bit extra to move it. It's not a lot so I'm just going to let them do it. My hubby will be here so I'm sure he'll help them move it. I'm going to leave while they are here because I don't want the baby breathing in all that stuff. I'll tell my hubby to make sure nothing gets broken. If so, I'll kick his butt. LOL

hi,This is not more practice in india.The houses where owners live,only have carpets,that too if they are rich enough.

When I had carpet installed, they company that I used said that if they had to move the furniture it would be an extra charge. We moved ours to save the extra money, and to make sure that our things were taken care of. You may need to ask the company that you are using if it is included, or is it extra. You could possibly save a few bucks if you are able to do it yourself. Good luck to you.

Ok, that's what I was wondering. I figured they would charge extra to move it. I'm going to ask them and see what they say. If they charge extra then we will just move it to save some money.
