A wheel having more diameter than other, then the wheel having more diameter will make more displacement within less number of rotations or revolutions than the other(second wheel). Did you observe this...? So I think we prefer wheels having more diameter

You may be right Aman .. But .. what i think that .. More the diameter .. more the displacement .. i agree .. But .. To complete one revolution or rotation .. it will take more time .. plus .. more resources will be needed to rotate that ! More fuel will be burnt to rotate the bigger diameter wheel .. As .. in case of a two wheeler .. like a scooter .. The wheel is small .. more is the average .. Speed is max 70-90 kmph .. But in case of Truck or a bus.. Bigger is the wheel.. more speed .. but the average is very very low .. more fuel is wasted . . Its like both are better according to the need of the hour . .. If you need more speed .. like in Bus. . you can use bigger one .. but at the cost of more fuel .. If you need average speed , use average diameter wheel .. cost is low ! What say?

Sure, a wheel having more diameter will certainly cover more distance in one rotation, but this doesn't mean it is always better to use bigger wheels. The size depends on the purpose.
