Luckily I do not have any pets to wash. I have helped wash both cats and dogs, and it is no fun!

I used to wash my little Tiffany (dog)in the bath and she loved it, but labradors are a bit big to lift in and out. My Ruby (black lab, 15 months) is at my feet now and she is lovely BUT has a passion for rolling in fox sh*t on her walks. Poooooh! She gets the wash outside with a bucket and brush with water from the water butt and loves that as well. Our cats enjoyed a wash too but they were much better at keeping themselve clean and certainly no rolling in muck!

You can bath a cat but only once in a while and use a cat shampoo. I have bathed many and the easiest way to do it and calm the cat down is to hold them by the scruff of there neck {like there mom would} It calms them and makes it easier on you.
