Anyone keeping an eye on the trades in the NHL?

I've been hitting NHL.Com off and on all day to see what's going on. Bertuzzi has been traded as well as Biron, the Sabres goalie. I sort of expected that one. Bertuzzi wasn't a real surprise either if you ask me.
Anything stand out for you in the current and final day of trade in the NHL?

I've been on it all day long! The NHL site and the Sabres site have been so slow to load because of all of the hits, I'm sure. Everyone here in Buffalo is amazed at the trade of Biron. In the beginning of the season we thought that he would go, especially since he's going to be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year. But with the run of injuries we've had and the playoffs quickly approaching, we all thought that they would keep him just for assurance that we would be OK defensively. We got Zubras from Washington for Novatny, which is a great deal. Zubras will add a lot offensively, especially with all of our injuries. I can't wait for tonight's game to hear about all of the trades that went on throughout the league. Which team is yours?

What I wouldn't give to have Sidney Crosby with the Sabres for the playoffs this year!! I love watching him skate and maneuver- he reminds me of our "French Connection" line in the 1970's, Gilbert Perrault in particular. Pittsburgh is doing well this season, also. We very well could meet in the playoffs! My best friend is originally from Pittsburgh, so she is loyal to them, also. It is great to see the local kids grow up and make it in the NHL! We have one local kid who was just called up from our farm team in Rochester, and he's making quite an NHL impression!

Isn't it awesome to have the young ones to watch going up the ladder? That's how we are with our OHL team here and why I have so many different guys I actually KNOW in the NHL now!

I have been keeping an eye out on the trades, especially with the ones that my Flyers have made recently. First they traded Forsberg, then Calder and now they get Biron from Buffalo. I believe the Flyers will also be trading Robert Esche, their goaltender. They have made some other trades recently as well as they are trying to rebuild for next year. I did not hear about Bertuzzi being traded. I am sure there will be more to come.

I was surprised that Oiler let smyth go adn also very happy with Van for getting sobela dn smilinsky now the cup is commin to Van.
All in all pretty tame day of trading

No,I haven't been keeping track of the nhl trades. I should I guess.With the way my flyers are playing,I wouldn't be surprised if they traded the whole team,lol. It's so hard being a philly fan!
