My brother was cremated, I feel bad. I think it is a very cruel decision to burn a body. I met a woman, whose husband was cremated and she placed the jar inside her house. Where is the proper place to put a cremated ashes - in a temple where most of those who died are cremated or keep them in your house?

I don't believe that cremation is cruel at all. Most people decide to be cremated before they die. I don't see how it could really be any worse than leaving a body below the ground to decompose inside the clothing the person was buried in. Really, a person is going to decompose either way. And, some might argue it saves space. And is less morbid. I don't think there is a proper place to really be "kept" once cremated. But I like the idea of scattering ashes somewhere. You know, some people make diamonds out of cremated ashes. Lifegem, I believe is what that is called.

It's up to the individual. I don't think cremation is anyworse to burying, they're both painful for loved ones. Where one keeps the remains is also a personal choice.
