Do you encourage your children that Brotherly Love is important?

Some brothers and sisters do not share their time to show their love. They simply do their own thing. Hardly they find time to play with each other. One is watching TV by himself, the other is playing at the computer. Not much time is spent in happy conversation or the older helping the younger in his study.

I guess its really important. i'm an only chid so i can say that the its difficult to be alone. I have no one to share especially when its a family matter issue (because i prefer to keep family issues confidential) i have to go to the neighborhood for me to be able to have playmates... I envy those kids who play at their own house. I love sharing stuff... but i dont have a little sis/bro... its a hard time.
Now that i already have two kids... i let them realizr the importance of brotherhood. I let them do some stuff together.
They enjoy counting, playing and singing together. They are the best partners in crime. They dont grow together (my eldest is living with my parents since that) but i see to it that they talk over the phone once in a while. We visited my eldest daughter every time im available... and see to it that we have quality time together. Brotherhood does not mean that they dont go for little fights... but I see to it that they would settle things in the end. long quarrel is a big no no to me!
In the end im confident everytime they are together.... pretty sure that they wont let anything bad happen to each other.

I know your difficulties. My nephew was 8 yrs old before he had his 2 brothers. I have 2 older brothers. We are one yr apart. The 2 always had a fight. I also had a friend who is the only girl. She wants me to be her older sister, she loved me but I guess I do not take it seriously.

Brotherly love is different. You can have friends even best friends and partners in life.

My brother and i didnt do anything with one another as kids. We rather hated each other. When we got older, we get along alot better now hehe.
