how do post make it on the todays topic

I see alot of todays hot topics, how to post make it that far? do you have to have so many ratings? just curious.

No, your ratings do not matter. It is the number of responses that you receive. Your topic would have to receive quite a number of responses in a short time to make it to the hot topics. Don't worry too much about it as it doesn't effect your earnings.
