Guys, i'm thinking of branching out into "Man Jewellery" and i'd be interested in what men like to wear. Any ideas and suggestions would be more than welcome!

Sure - he seems to like ones that are like links along the wrist or funky types of ones with charms on them!!! He will always say that he will wear it as long as it's not mega heavy!!!! He's pretty easy to please!!

Watches, rings, jelly braclets, gold braclets, anything that compliments my style and clothes.

Thanks for your response - but what on earth is a jelly bracelet?!

A jelly braclet is like those "rubber" braclets that come in a vaiety of colors. Mostly rockers, and pop stars wear them. They can be worn solo or to compliment a nice watch or bracelet made of a precious metal.

I think I have heard soemthing like that but I paid no attention to it. More often than not most people haven't heard of that Urban Legend.

Well feralwoman my husband wears no jewellery at all, but our son does. He has a couple of silver rings. One of them has turtles on it and it is the one size fits all type of ring. The other one has a pattern of small squares around the entire ring, and it is one that actually fits him. He also wears a silver link chain and it actually has a St. Christopher medal on it - St. Christopher being the patron saint of travellers, which is why he always wears that one. He also has one on a leather strap bit it actually has some sort of shark tooth on it. That one didn't come from Australia, but cannot remember where he got it. He wears a leather "bracelet" and now to try to explain it to you. It is double stringed and the strings feed through a metal patterned piece of silver. The design is rather basic, but cannot remember exactly what it is although I do hope you can understand the concept of what I am trying to say. Good luck with your new venture and I do hope that it works out well for you, as I am sure that it will.

Great topic! I've been looking for some handmade gift ideas for men. It might not be as fancy as what you're looking for, but hemp jewelry has been a hit with my man friends, especially bracelets. If you use some of the thicker cord, it's pretty easy to come up with some "manly" designs.

My brother in law likes to wear chains, and chain bracelets, kind of like the figurora style, he likes them to be thicker heavier. He wears his wedding band, and he likes a loose fit watch. My guy likes to wear a nice ring, something that looks dressy and elegant when he gets dressed up for special occassions. I also know a few men who liked to wear rings that have a pool or poker theme, something that is kind of like band, with either a flat area and a fan of a card hand, or a class ring type design, or something that may have an 8 or 9 ball design on it. Don't know if that info can help but I suppose it is due to the popularity of texas hold em poker, and tournaments are also aired on tv, and the APA pool leagues.

Basing it on the men around me, may not be what you are interested in pursuing but answers the question. Hope your business thrives.
