Would you get mad at me?

My hubby and I had some time without the kids and went out to eat and to do a little shopping. We were walking into a store, in a crowded parking lot and my hubby put his arm around me and gave me a kiss. How sweet right? I thought so. But being the stinker that I am I yelled, loud enough for several people around us to hear "You better stop that or I'm telling mom! Do you really wanna go back to that place?!" He didn't talk to me for about an hour after that. He was miffed and I understand why, but in my defense it was funny and it's not like we're ever going to see any of those people again. Has your spouse ever done something to embarrass you? How long did you stay mad? My hubby informed me payback will be swift and silent LOL so maybe I should sleep with one eye open.

Although I try not to care too much about what people think, I find myself caring anyways, and yes I would have been upset if I was your husband too, who wants to have a bunch people looking at them like some pervert? I guess you'll see when he pays you back if you would really care or not.

I would have to say i would be pretty angry over something like that. And i would expect some kind of retaliation, it can be funny, but that is kinda borderline. That would be embaressing. Anyway if i did something like that to my husband i could expect him to be mad for a few hours, maybe even a day or so. And then be embaressed about it for weeks after. And i would expect to be embaressed myself for it.

He got over it, but I'm sure there'll be payback. I think our relationship works so well because I'm more of the extrovert, where as he's quiet and reserved. He's always said one of the reasons he loves me so much is because he never knows what I'm gonna do next. You're right though, maybe it was a tad borderline. But it was funny! I wish I would've had a camera, he got irritated but with that sly "you just wait" look.

Aww, that was sweet of him- but no doubt he must've been extremely embarrassed. I'd be careful because in the future he might do the same to you in public.

LOL You are hilarious! You should definitely sleep with one eye open! It was very very funny! I would think he should not stay mad very long if he has a good sense of humor. I know some people would have laughed out loud right then and there and proceeded to hug you even more! lol Different strokes for different folks I guess! I don't really know for sure as I have never been married, but for a prank like that I wouldn't even stay mad for more than a minute! Good luck keeping that one eye open though! LOL
