I have begun to get age spots on the back of my hands. I dont know what to do to make them go away. I know that they are oftne called liver spots and that they are the result of the sun. I have heard different people swear by different methods including Vitamin E, Aloe vera gel, lemon juice, cider vinegar, which hazel and other things. I have tried aloe vera gel for a few years now and I can say that it is not working with me. I am going to be trying lemon juice now and see if it will work. Have you found any natural methods that work. I dont want to use commercial lotions or creams. What do you use? Does it work?

Have you tried Arbonne products? They are all natural, botanical products and have been shown to reduce the signs of aging, including age spots. Check ut the website in my profile for more info.

I have no idea, other than avon banishing cream which worked for my aunt. I also used it myself for a big red scar I had from gallbladder surgery. I have skin that takes ages to heal properly.

I don't have an answer, but I thought I would join in here to read all the responses. I too have a couple of age spots on the backs of my hands. They are not noticeable in Summer as I have lots of freckles but as the freckles fade in winter the age spots are more visible. I am going to try each of the suggestions in the previous responses and I will be keeping an eye out for more. Great topic!

i think that if you want to try the natural route. lemon juice and pulp may be the best way. also exfoliate the area regularly and try to cut down exposure to the sun by using sunblock every day. hope this helps. i work as a cosmetician and my clients are always asking about the extra steps to take when reducing age spots.
