my little girl made me smile today. she just started day care on monday. so this morning i am getting her ready. she said momma i don't want to go to big girl school. i explained to her that she had to because i had to go to work. she asked can she go to mina's house. mina is my aunt who kept since she was 3 months. i told my little one mina moved to VA, so you have to go to big girl school now. she looked me straight in the eye and said, i want to go to VA then. I laughed so hard, and just gave her the biggest hug. that was my best smile today

It made me smile today knowing that I'll be going to Church this Sunday morning and start praising my Lord and Saviour in His house of Worship :-)

When my husband came in from work early this morning he told me he is going to be working overtime 2 days on his next 2 weekends off. I got upset because he hasn't been around a whole lot lately and the next few days won't be any different. He slept most of the day, then he got up and went to the gym like he does every day (one of the reasons we don't see much of him anymore). But after he got back from the gym he asked me if I wanted to go for a walk with him. I was surprised and it made me smile and I was lifted out of my doldrums and we had a nice walk together. I am the one that always asks him if he wants to come for a walk with me, and sometimes I have to beg him so it was nice having him ask me for a change. :)

I was playing with my son today (he's 4 months old) and tickling his tummy. He squealed and pushed his tummy out farther to tell me that he wanted more. It was so cute that I just had to smile.

Currently I found a very good online album. And I'm busy with uploading many photos to it. Today I uploaded my son's photos when he was just born. It is just a delight to see his childhood pictures. How to believe that time goes by so quickly. I miss in the past when he was so little. I am unable to see him without any teeth any more:)

A nice gentleman on the bus noticed that I was having problems balancing in my sandals when the bus would stop or start suddenly, so he offered me his seat. I've found that people are usually pretty kind on the bus, but in the afternoon it tends to be more rare, because everyone is so tired. I really appreciated the offer of a seat today!

Okay this still makes me laugh and the kids are now in bed. This evening our family was downtown with a few other people. My son who is 2 y/o has been around these people a few times in the last two months. One person in particular (we'll call him Bill) who is a male and is tall must have caught my sons attention. We were all standing around talking and Bill noticed that my son was standing in the same position (with arms crossed) as he was. So Bill changed the way he was standing and in less than one minute so did my son. LOL After a few more minutes Bill crouched down with both legs bent and within a minute so did my son. It was absolutely hilarious!!!! It still makes me laugh.

I'm about 5 months late on this discussions, but I thought I'd join in anyway. :) What happened today to make me smile? Lots of things.. 1. My youngest woke up with a dry diaper and went potty in the big girl potty. 2. My older daughter thanked me for the neat dress that I just made for her, and her best friend asked if she could have one. 3. I watched Timmy and Tommy (or stray kittens) romp around in the front yard. They are just too cute, it's impossible NOT to smile when watching them. 4. My hubby will be home from work soon, and I can get my squeeze. 5. I had a chance to say hi to some of my friends on mylot, and it always makes me happy! :)

I got a call back about a job I applied to weeks ago. It's for a substitute greeter at a local non-profit organization. I figured if I did it occasionally, I could pick up some extra money. I was taking a nap when the phone rang and I was surprised that someone wanted me to come in for an interview since I applied weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised and it did make me smile. Another smile I got was when I went to make a phone call on my cell phone to my office and the voice on the other end was that of my son's. I said 'wrong number' and he just started to laugh. I have no idea how I did it, but I must have automatically dialed his number instead. Hearing his voice made me smile!
