Total Breath In A Lifetime

Hiya! I read an interesting quote somewhere that states that the total breaths in a person's lifetime is FIXED! Imagine, if you expanded all the alloted breaths, your lifespan expires. This has some kind of truth in it. If you breathe once per minute, you will live a ripe old age. And if you breath rapidly, you'll live a shorter life. Now the question is, has anyone here heard or seen this too? And can anyone here determine that figure of Total Breath? Looks like I am gotta kind my breathing down to 1 per minute! *lol* Cheers!
