I washed my daughter's Ipod!

Is it ruined forever? It went through the whole wash cycle. Is there any way to open it to make sure it dries out?

I know that there are some stores that has a kit for opening and replacing the battery of the iPod. Maybe you can use the kit to open the device. However, I am not sure if the iPod can still function after you washed it and undergoes several bumps. I suggest you should ask the apple about it or just buy another ipod for your daughter.
