I started using ebay about 2 years ago. i was addicted to it for a while. i have sold c=school books, cloths, and other small items. I have also bought quite a bit off of ebay too. thats where i do most of my present shopping! Tips: Be very descriptive, add pictures, include a picture for the display when it comes up on the list that pops up. have cheap shipping, and ship fast to get good feedback. I hope this helps a little.

I use to order school books from ebay, but I usually found better deals on the books from amazon. I wonder what brand of clothes sells the best. Thanks for the tips.

I actually just started selling school books and leisure books on half.com, which is based off of ebay. If you are interested check that out. There is no bidding, but sometimes you can find really cheap books, other than risking the prices on Ebay.

I love ebay! I've sold two little rocks out of my daughter's yard there. I made a little over $15.00 on them, one was shaped like a heart with beautiful dark purple veins. The other had a face on it, looked like Conway Twitty to me but others saw Elvis lol. The better your pictures are, the better your auction will go imho.

I joined ebay as a seller to sell a lot of items. Now I found the process is very laborious and I gave it up. I have leading stores nearby my house and hence it is convenient to buy from stores than through ebay. There are so many items which are avialable cheaper than what is quoted in ebay.

If you have something that is popular that sells fast. I mean like something froma movie just coming out, or a baseball, or football star. Those seem to sell pretty good. Here is a good tip. Make sure you put good key words into your headlines. Those are what come up when people search for something.

I have tried selling stuff (which I have no use of, like tops or cosmetics) in ebay but I would say I just don't have the luck there. Actually I remember someone told me that you can check the hottest items with ebay and see what people are usually looking for, then you might have a higher chance of selling your stuff. I guess it would be better for collectibles, or computer-related stuff. I remember someone told me that some people would buy websites there for around $70, so you might want to check those out too!

i find that kid's clothes sell the best. i have started a business where you can get a lot of name brand clothes and get them for a low price if you are interested in this idea. i also see that you like to buy on ebay. i can give you a link where each time that you buy on ebay you can earn money from your purchase. let me know

When I WAS selling on feepay.. my user name was - people_buy_the_darndest_things! - Because they do. They buy whatever it is you might have that they might want cheaper than the other sellers (they will even pay more than the other on-line sites because they are too lazy to do research) But, since all of the fee increases and all the other changes greedbay has made, it is't worth the fees they charge you to TRY and turn a profit. I now sell on loudfrog.com the ONLY fees thay charge are 1% final value fee. You get FREE 30 day listing, 4 pics Free featured stores.. sooooo much better than greedyfeepay On loudfrog.com i am greedbayrefugee.. check it out!
