Problem with my pet dog

I am facing a problem with my lovely pet dog. Whenever any visitor comes to our place, this dog starts acting as if the leg of that visitor is a female dog. You know what I mean. It becomes very embarassing for us and if we try to resist it, he refuses to recognise us and act violently. Also, seeing a broom in action, he becomes very aggressive. He behaves like that only during that period. Rest of the time, he is just wonderful. Its a beautiful, very intelligent and a smart Spitz, most probably American. Can you suggest a solution?

Is your dog neutered? If not, that could be the reason. If neutered, they will show less aggression and feel the need to mark their territory or hump anything in their sight including your visitors' legs! I would take the dog to a vet and get the dog neutered asap!
