Homemade mixes are a great way to keep your family healthy. Today commercial food has so many preservatives and MSG that you can eliminate when you make your own homemade mixes. It really does not take too long to make mixes. If you would take one day and make all the mixes that you would normally purchase, it would save you alot of money and you would be feeding your family healthier food. Does your family love chocolate pudding. I remember when our kids were small, we used to make "pudding in a cloud". They just loved it. I would let them help make it. I was sure that they were getting enough calcium when they eat it. They loved to cook and this was so simple. We started with homemade chocolate pudding and whipped cream. We would put whip cream in the bowl and then put chocolate pudding in the middle thus "pudding in a cloud" was born. They would make each persons individual bowl and when we were finished eating dinner, they would serve desert. They were preschool age and they felt so big. There father would just brag on the desert and their faces would just glow with pride. This is the mix that we used to make the pudding. I hope you will enjoy it and start your own family traditions today. Chocolate Pudding Mix 2 1/2 cups nonfat dry milk 5 cups sugar 3 cups cornstarch 1 tsp. salt 2 1/2 cups baking cocoa Mix and store in airtight container. To prepare, add 2/3 cup mix to 2 cups milk. Heat and stir constantly while boiling. Cool, then serve.

I'll try anything chocolate and this sounds really good. I have never heard of pudding in a cloud. Can you use cool whip or are you talking about the whipped cream in the can? I think cool whip would be good. But I am sure you probably have a recipe for your own whipped cream, don't you? lol

Got you chocolate chip cookie mix in the jar and now this pudding. We do appreciate all these recipes and the pudding indeed will be a hit around here. Hope to also have a couple of goats this season and with the milk will come puddings, ice cream, butter etc., You will be part of that sort of through these kind of recipes. Thanks much.

Goats cheese is so good. We do not raise goats and never have. We have raised cows for milk. I purchase goats cheese often. I love goats milk in my soap. It is so gentle. Glad you can use the recipes

This isn't a picture of pudding in a cloud - but this looks soo good that I thought I would share. This would be a cute way to fix up your pudding in a cloud.
