I woke up because the cats were stomping on me & had to put some water down for the brats. I decided to get up & check my email - & come to mylot. Then a helicopter started coming over my house. This means, in my town, that there was a crime commited nearby and they are looking for someone on foot. There are several large empty fields near where I live & we have a problem with the homeless sleeping in them anyway. It has finally stopped, but it is worrysome when you don't know if someone could be lurking around your house and they might be desperate. I hope they caught him, but I'm not going out to find out! Boy have I changed from when I was a crazy younger person!

yes i know what you mean.I live in the country on 2 acres and there are lots of woods around me and this has happened to me too...Im always hoping that who they are after is not lurking in back of my place, because with so many woods and trees there are a lot of places that a person can hide....My cat wakes me up too...I ended up getting him a water fountain for cats and a automatic food feeder so he don't have to wake me up....He stomps on me very early in the morning but im trying to break him of that habit...having these 2 cat appliances has helped..

it isn't it weird how our views in life change like that. For you that was an eventful day for young people it would have been boring lol. I had a very eventful week, fighting with my bank over paypal.

yeah its just smarter and safer to stay inside. if its gone and you havent seen or heard any lights/sirens then they probably caught the person. i live in a town with a marine base, so we hear helicopters and jets all the time. we are also very near the border so sometimes the border patrol flys over too. and of course there are the crop dusters. lol

You see in movies were the person who is in a similar situation as yours braves going outside. I always think how dumb. You don't know if the person is still out there are not. There is no way I would go outside to look. In my book the fellas in the helicopter are perfectly capable of finding the person. They don't need my help. But it would worry me. I think as we get older we get more cautious. At least I have.
