World cup is big festival for all cricket lovers. Its an excellent sporting event. But problem comes to the indian students with the time it is being held.Always worldcup matches come in the months of march,april....the peak time of our study as we dont study before.I missed last world cup in intermediate.Have my exams starting from march 17th this time...god save me.ICC gets 80% of its income from india, because of the cricket lovers here.I feel it can be changed to some other months in the coming times. What do u say?

i too had the same problem when i had my engineering exams.i cant able to concentrate on my studies when a match was on progress and others are watching them live.so i just decided to take breaks for 10 minutes for every 1 hour and i will watch the match during that time and will read my subject.Studies are much important so concentrate more on that.Because you can see the match in the next day or get the info from newspapers.

Well, you must study hard for you have a career in that is the main goal of your life. I suggest you to concentrate on your studies and read about the matches of other teams, from the newspapers. You might want to take breaks in midsts of your studies, so you could just look through the score on t.v. or on the net for Indian matches.

Dude my suggestion is to go and read for ur board exam World cup you can see after next 4 yr too but if you didn't study properly then your future will get ruined Think about your future One more thing its true that ICC gets a lot of money from india but for conducting a world cup it cant look whether the students have exams or not,its an international event not a country event so study hard buddy, best of luck for boards

Well u should focus on your studies because it will be good for your future ,last time i had my maths exam just one day before the india-pak match and did not studied during match due to which i got the less score which kept my % down due to which i am not getting jobs now. Only for the sake of indian students icc cannot change their schedule ,actually schedule made by them before discussing too many parameters like whether conditions, due effect and many more, so study hard and wishes for your good future.

"ONE FINAL PUSH...U CAN MAKE MANY YEARS OF UR LIFE BETTER" n c'mon....cricket is an international game.....icc cant change rules according to a certain country...bcci cant bully over tis....lets accept the fact....

i think that you should concentrate on your studies for now.you can watch many more world cups, and hope that it changes its time and in the coming years you can watch it guilt free.i remember my brother being in that position, fighting with my mother for just watching its highlights.i understand your situation, but we can't forget the importance of studies and our exams over this.

Education first! Entertainment next! After 4 years you would be a well settled guy, have had finished your studies and earning for you and your family. Then you can enjoy the next world cup. Cricketers are usefully playing for their lives. But we are wastefully watching them and losing our time.

well it's too difficult say on this topic, im also a student but at this time my fresh semeste is start and now a days i am completly free to see the all matches. in this regard want to say that study is more important for a student coz time comes never back so one should concentrate more on studies than worldcup.

You must study well for your exams as it will help improve your career prospects which is more important. Besides you can watch cricket when eating food, during breaks from studies, and read about it in next's day papers. ICC is global cricketing body and is not going to change schedule just because it affects indian students. Frankly they are only interested in staging world cup when it fits the cricketing calender of all cricketing nations and also when weather is right. So that ICC can generate maximum revenues from it.

I think sooner or later it gets to all of us sports lovers. A sporting event will get coincide with schoolwork and we're forced to make a decision between the two. No matter how big the game is (I see an exception to the FIFA World Cup =]) You shoyuld just choose the education over the Cup. There'll be plenty more cups in the future.

hey dude don't miss even single match............watching will have more impact than reading.......so watch the world cup....let us wish our team "INDIA" the best wishes to end the drought a 24 years drought and emulate the class of 1983 by coming home with the trophy
