Have you ever regretted getting plastic/cosmetic surgery?

It doesn't matter if it was a big or small issue - I'm just curious. I had a rhinoplasty done for free while I was in the Marine Corps (done by a Navy ENT Doc) and lemme tell you - you do get what you pay for. I had a wide nose and I just wanted a little shaved off the sides. Well apparently because of the way my cartilage was they couldn't do too much but that idiot put a plastic ball in at the tip of my nose and I didn't need or want it! If you look at my profile you can see it in the tip of my nose and I hate it! It still hurts somewhat 6 years later! Plus there is little protection between the skin and bone on my left side at the top of my nose near my eye and for some reason it itches me a lot. It feels like the bone itself itches although there is no outward sign of infection. It comes and goes but when it bothers me I scratch it until I bleed.:( Plus on my first day back at work after the surgery someone opened a door quickly and it smacked into the broom I was holding and the broom stick whacked my nose and re-broke it on my right side. You can see the bump in my picture as well on that right side. I left the Marines before I had the chance for them to fix it. Sigh. If I could turn back time I wouldn't have had the operation done. My old nose looked and felt better. Lesson learned!

Well, I think you should at the very least go and see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that has experience in corrective procedures. It sounds to me like you have a major problem, especially if you are itching so badly. Could it be possible that you allergic to the material that went into your nose? I don't know if it is true that you get what you pay for, however, in my opinion, if it's free, it cannot be good. Since it was not a medical surgery, it seems you were a guinea pig for this person. Consultations at any reputable plastic surgeons office usually are free or nomimal in price, go have someone take a look at it. P.S I have never regretted anything I have done to myself. I did my research, found who I thought was best for me, and I am very happy.
