I am sure many of you have had to face this dilemma at least once in your life. Sometimes we get big chances at work, opportunities, but they are incompatible with the current personal situation we have at that moment, that is, they imply moving, or spending a lot of time away from home....what would you do if you had a really really great professional chance? what would be your choice in this case? what are the factors you would consider in order to decide one thing or the other.

It is always tough when something like this happens. I think you need to assess all the areas of your life and see how much changing your career would impact on all the other things. If it is going to make the other areas of your life very difficult then it is probably not the best thing to do.

For you to take a decision, one have to have a very supportive family. I would always look for the future benefits I am going to gain, If I am to take up a position, or even a transfer. It the advantages are going to be the same as it is now, the change is not worth it and I wouldnt step my foot in. If you have a family that will back you in all the way up your life, you could even reach the stars
