Is Internet is causing problems to parents.......

Hi,
In this age of internet I think it is having more deffects than good side. Do you belive this statement. Do you thing that internet is making parents wory increase towards the childeren who use it. Is any precautions to be taken to protect the children from its attractive nets which once anybody touches he become addict to that.....

Yes it does, i know it does cus my mom scolds me for spending too much time online! specially now that i have myLot hahah.. but seriously, at least im doing this to earn something. But before i joined mylot i used to stay online for long periods of time, just playing online games that i didnt have time to sleep anymore. So that affected my studies cus i was always late- well, thats what happened to me. I think what a parent should do to prevent their child to becoming and online addict is to be there for their kids.. most of my co players in the game are younger than i am, and spend much more time online because they have no parents around, or their parents are too busy to take care of them, so they put all their time in the game forgeting their studies. SO i think in order to prevent children from becoming online addicts, the parents must be there for the kids make their kids feel that they are real.
