Everything that I have read suggests a soft, clean cloth that has been dampened with plain water. According to my readings that avoid Windex and amonia based cleaners should be avoided. I have read also that one shouldn't use paper towels on the monitors as they can scratch the monitor. Here is a link that has a good summar: http://www.logicaltips.com/LPMArticle.asp?ID=630

Sissy grl never ever use any kind of homing sprays or anything of that becareful it could ruin it totally.Just go to a computer store and get yourself an lcd or monitor cleaner which there are many kinds of.For example there is one you brush the monitor then spray on the wiping pad and start wipping it on the screen and takes all the dirt away which i use i recommend this one.There are many other types another is you spray on a pad and rub it on the screen very easy to use and cheap to buy.But never use water,spraying home equipments u dont want to ruin it :) P.S for the keyboard get the spray duster it blows every little thing from the keyboard :D

I would use a duster that is attracks dust via static electricty. Other wise I would use a very soft cloth with just a little water to dampen it and gently wipe it clean.

you can buy nylon brushes from most computer stores.... i would recomend that because you wont put any pressure on the screen{which is what brakes it lol}
