I am wondering how most people connect to the internet, as I would like to upgrade the way I log on to the internet, at moment it is with modem but of late find that is very very slow and does not connect at the speed it did when I first started. Where I live, even those who have fast broadband are not getting it at the greatest speed. I see lots of advertising online for connecting to internet and wonder if we will eventually get the technology here.

Your right, I suppose I should have said a dial up modem (56K) but I don't think I have seen it dial up at that since I started using the internet. Could you tell me please what does digital have that is different?

Yes you will get the technology soon. The world is going broadband in a big way, even wireless broadband techonology is developing fast. I presume you are in a fairly remote area in NZ which is why you do not have broadband as yet.
