It's an International English Language testing system exam. Those who need to prove their knowledge of English may pass the exam. I've heard that even for native speakers this exam is not so easy as it may seem. Have anyone here had such experience? Thank you for your answers.:)

This brought back my memory. There are two modules such as General and Module C, which I selected. I have already taken I.E.L.T.S ( International English Language testing system ) for a long time ago. while I was a student at the third year of English department in the university, I passed with it with good score, I was advised to prepare documents to Australia with the Aussie embassy; but unluckily, A previous guide of the ministry of education in my country didn't allow me to go, because I was still holding the government scholarship, the Aussie embassy encourage me to go after my graduation. But then I found nothing being progress to me, I have had never passed even my screening test. I think there would have been something unfair selection. I wouldn't try it again. You can try it to know your score, I totally did 5.5 bands in the previous time. I saw they were selling a lot at the market, I have never bought and look at it again. Again!Keep trying if you like to do some tests.

Actually,i had my second IELTS test three days ago.Personally,it's not so hard if you know the relative skills, but, it's not easy if you hadn't got enough backgroung words. The most difficult part for me is about the oral test .i can't help stammering while the examiner was asking the questions.I have no idea whether i can got a nice mark after finished the interviewing.Last time i had got 6 point(average),i just hope there is some improvement this time. on the other hand, there were some relevant website of IELTS,it may does help if you are about to take the IELTS test.

For us from the Philippines we have to take this exam for us to be qualified to work abroad. I have taken this exam last August and I was glad I passed it with a 7 band score. Its not so hard as long as you are prepared and know what to do. Presence of mind during the exam is imperative too. (c")

I want to apply for a higher education foundation year in Warwick or Nottingham so that I must have a good ielts mark. I am having a basic ielts course in the New Oriental in China. I will take the ielts in August 25th. I am very tense and wish that I can succeed.
