I have an office mate who really afraid to sleep alone in our lodging room. She wants me or anyone among us to stay with her to sleep. She will chose to sleep on the chair rather than go to bed alone. Have you experience that?

Well, I'm totally afraid of the dark. In fact, I'm a total chicken when I'm alone in the dark. And I sleep alone too. That makes everything extra scary for me! If I were to watch a horror or ghost movie at night, I'd definitely have trouble going off to sleep. My imagination would then run wild and I'd terrify myself completely. I try to control what I think but I can't help thinking back what I watched earlier in the movie. That's why I always steer clear from such scary movies. Sometimes, if I had a bad dream or nightmare, then I'd wake up and feel scared too. The darkness did not calm me down either. It just made me even more scared. To make myself go back to sleep, I'd close my eyes and say a prayer. Then, I would doze off to sleep and will be very happy and relieved when I wake up in the morning!

Better not to watch a horror movie before going to sleep, I suggest, watch earlier. Just always asked for Gods guidance before you go to sleep and keep you away from bad dreams.

Maybe that is normal because I have seen it to my office mates who can't sleep alone.
