I have a delicious one that is more or less my own signature recipe. My friends often request it! It is completely homemade and does take some time, but it is well worth it. Hope you enjoy! Ingredients: 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken, cut in bite sized pieces 1 large can tomato sauce 1 large can Italian stewed tomatoes (or 2 regular sized cans) 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced To taste: (Start with a Tbsp. of each) Oregano Basil Sugar Saute chicken in butter until cooked and no longer pink. Remove from heat. Saute onion and bell pepper and garlic in butter until tender crisp. (Be careful not to burn garlic) Add all ingredients to large pot and stir until well blended. Bring to a slow boil and turn down heat to a simmer. Cover and cook 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Taste-test and add more basil, oregano, or sugar to taste. (I usually add a little more basil) Cook another hour, sirring occasionally. You may simmer this for hours, but can be served after about 2 hours. Serve over spaghetti noodles.

Enjoy! I like it because I never see chicken served with spaghtetti unless it is on the side, such as the Chicken Parmesan dish. It is a nice change of pace, but of course spaghetti is so versatile you can throw almost any kind of meat in there and I am sure it would taste good.

Quick and Easy Spaghetti Dinner An easy skillet spaghetti dinner recipe. INGREDIENTS: 1/2 pound lean ground beef 1/4 cup chopped pinch ground hot pepper 1 teaspoon dried leaf basil, crumbled 1/2 teaspoon dried leaf oregano, crumbled 2 1/2 cups water 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce or your favorite spaghetti sauce 12 ounces spaghetti, broken in half freshly ground black pepper 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese PREPARATION: In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, combine the ground beef, onion, cayenne pepper, basil, and oregano. Cook, stirring to break up meat, until browned, about 5 minutes. Drain off any excess grease. Add 2 1/2 cups water, the spaghetti sauce, and spaghetti; bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook, stirring frequently, until the spaghetti is just tender and most of the liquid is absorbed, about 15 minutes. Turn off the heat and let pan stand, covered, 5 minutes. Season with pepper to taste and serve sprinkled with the cheese. Serves 4 I prefer to let mine simmer longer so that the sauce thickens

Around our household spaghetti/pasta is one of our absolute favorite dishes to have for dinner each night. I love how spaghetti is so versatile as well. How there are so many different ways one can cook spaghetti, & have spaghetti in general. I enclosed two recipes that are absolute favorites when it comes to me & my other half. The sauces are to die for as well! I hope if you try them you like them as much as we do! Thanks for allowing me to share! xx "Chicken, Bacon Carbonara." Ingredients are as follows: - 1 package of spaghetti - 2 cups of cut up cooked chicken - 8 slices of cut up back in to small pieces - 1 garlic clove, finely chopped - 1 medium onion, chopped very finely - 1/2 of a cup of grated parmesan cheese - 2 - 3 cups of heavy whipping cream (sometimes we use the whole big carton to make it creamy) Directions are as follows: - Firstly cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the back of the package. Then drain. - While the spaghetti is cooking, cook the bacon in a medium skillet or a saucepan over low heat for 10 mins. Make sure to stir frequently until it's crisp. Then remove the bacon from the pain with a splotted spoon & drain. Or put a strainer over top of a bowl & dish the bacon out in to the strainer. Make sure to reserve 1 tablespoon of bacon fat though in the saucepan. - After this cook both the onion & the garlic in the bacon fat over medium heat for 3 minutes. At least until the onion has become tender. Then stir in the spaghetti, along with the chicken, the parmesan cheese, & the heavy whipping cream. You may want to add more whipping cream after trying some though.. As some like there pasta rather creamy, I know we do. Then cook all of this together & stir occasionally. At least until heated through & toss with the bacon. Serve & enjoy this yummy dish! . . I am also trying new ways of making alfredo sauce. As it is mine & my other halfs favorite sauce. And the canned sauce isn't half as good as the one you make yourself. I enclosed a sauce that we had tuned to make it our own if you are interested. All you'd have to do is just cook some spaghetti on the side & put the sauce on top. With this sauce you can also serve either shrimp, or chicken on top of the alfredo sauce as well. I hope you end up liking this if you try it as we love this home-made sauce in general! "Alfredo Sauce." Ingredients are as follows: - 7 tablespoons of parmesan cheese - 5 tablespoons of butter - 3/4 of a cup of heavy cream - 1/4 of a teaspoon of garlic powder - 1 teaspoon of ground white pepper - 1/4 of a cup of mozzarella cheese - 8 ounces of pasta of your choice, both cooked as well as drained Directions are as follows: - Firstly take the butter & melt it in a saucepan over low heat. Off of the heat, add the parmesan cheese, along with the heavy cream, garlic powder & white pepper. - Put this all back on the heat & stir all of the ingredients until they are all combined & at least until the cheese has been melted. Do not boil though. - After this add the mozzarella cheese, & stir until the cheese has begun to melt & the sauce begins to become smooth. - Afterwards toss the cooked pasta you have with the sauce. And serve with some yummy garlic toast on the side! Or add whatever type of meat or seafood you'd like. & ENJOY this unique alfredo sauce! xx

Mine is very similar to the one above exept I make mine in giant batches and freze it so we have a quick fix when we need it. I make mine in a huge crock pot and it takes all day. If you dont have a crok you can bake it on low in a big pot. 5 lbs ground beef 2 lbs italian sausage 1 #10 can crushed tomatoes 1 #10 can tomatoe sauce 4 large onions siced 1 whole bunch garlic, peeled, smashed, minced 1/4 cup basil ( I use fresh but dry is good too just use a little less) 1/4 cup italian seasoning salt & peper to taste 1/2 cup sugar Brown meat and drain fat, add onions and garlic, when they are soft add everything else. Get it good and hot then turn to lop (or if baking set on 170'). I bake mine for 10-12 hours but as soon as it is hot is done, I think the longer cooking the more the flavors develop. I dont freeze the noodles so after the sauce has cooled I put it into freezer bags in the apropriate amounts for my family size and freeze. When you are ready to use it just put it in a sink of hot water then reheat. If you cant find #10 cans of tomatoes (the great big ones for resturaunts, I buy mine at costco) I use 6-7 of the big cans of tomatoes. It is so cheap to make it in big amouts like this I think it cost me about $15 and I get almost 10 meals out of it. Good luck !

here i am, directly from Italy! you just need spaghetti, oil garlic and chilipepper! Boil spaghetti and take them out of water when they are not completly cooked, in a pan put oil (at least 5 spoons) on slow flame, when it is quite hot put the garlic (one slice per person) and the chili peppers (how much you like). Put spaghetti in and let cook and meld for about 1 minut, then tie everithing with a spoon of parmigiano!

Well I hope you like Meat sauce.....here my recipe 1 pound lean hamburger 1 can diced tomatoes 1 can tomato sauce 1 large onion chopped 3-4 cloves of garlic minced fine Basil Oregano Salt Pepper 2 Tablespoons Sugar Soy sauce First brown the hamburger and drain off any fat. Add onions and garlic....sautee until onions are tender. Add both cans of of tomatoes and sugar....bring to a boil....reduce heat and simmer for 20 min. Add oregano, basil(I always start out with 1 teaspoon each...you can always add more if that is not enough)and simmer for 10 min. Season with salt, pepper and a few splashes of soy sauce....mix well. Taste to see if it needs more seasonings...if it does....simmer for a few more minutes after adding. Serve over cooked spaghetti and enjoy!
