experience wherein you almost died, yet survived

I almost died in an accident when I was still 9years old. We had a family outing together with some cousins and relatives. We went to Loboc River where there is a floating restaurant. We took our lunch in that restaurant and after that, the restaurant took us the hot spring at some point in the river. When I was swimming, I was almost drowned due to the current. THe last thing I remembered was when I opened my eyes, everyone was there to watch me and they are very happy that I'm still alive. My Dad told me that he saw my hand waving as my body drowned into the water. At this point, I'm just so grateful that I have given another chance to live. I could have been dead now if my Dad didn't see me. How about you? Have you experienced a second chance in your life?
